Refund Policy

Effective April 28, 2026

Claude Recall Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. We want you to be genuinely happy with it. If it is not the right fit, getting your money back should be simple and stress-free.

30-Day Refund Window

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through. If 30 days have passed and you believe there are exceptional circumstances, reach out anyway. We will do our best to help.

This refund window is a voluntary policy we offer as a commitment to customer satisfaction. All refunds under this policy are full refunds. We do not offer partial refunds.

How to Request a Refund

Send an email to [email protected] with the email address you used at checkout or the charge ID from your Stripe purchase confirmation email. We will match it against our records and process the refund. If you no longer have access to the original email, contact us and we will work with you to verify the purchase.

Refund requests must come from the email address used at checkout. If you received a license as a gift, the original purchaser must initiate the refund request.

What Happens After a Refund

Your Local Data

Claude Recall is local-first. All of your session data lives on your machine. A refund does not delete, modify, or touch any of it. We cannot access your local files, and we never will.

After a refund, you keep full access to the Free tier. Your indexed sessions, your database, your plain-text mirrors: everything stays exactly where it is.

Fair Use

This refund policy is intended for customers who purchase in good faith and find the product is not the right fit. We reserve the right to decline a refund request, or to limit future purchases, if we identify a pattern of abuse, including but not limited to repeated purchase-and-refund cycles by the same individual or entity.

A refund results in permanent deactivation of the associated license key. Subsequent purchases by the same account are subject to review.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If something went wrong with your purchase, please email us at [email protected] before filing a dispute with your bank or card provider. We respond quickly, and resolving it directly is faster for both sides.

A chargeback is not the same as a refund request. Chargebacks incur non-recoverable processing fees regardless of outcome. If a chargeback is filed, your license key will be deactivated immediately and will remain deactivated for the duration of the dispute. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, you will need to contact us to discuss reinstatement. Accounts with chargeback history may be declined for future purchases.

We offer a generous 30-day refund window specifically so that chargebacks are never necessary. Please reach out to us first.

Processing Time

Once we process your refund, it typically takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
